CHS Trojans Open 2026 Football Season

The Collinwood Trojans opened the 2026 football season on August 21 against St. George, falling 42-0 in the Week 1 matchup.

Luke Holt led the Trojans at quarterback, completing 6 of 15 passes for 38 yards with two interceptions. Holt also carried the ball 11 times for 46 yards.

Ryan Karcher led Collinwood’s rushing attack with 10 carries for 39 yards, while Gentry Hart had six carries for 17 yards and added three receptions for 22 yards. Tristan Gobbell recorded two rushing attempts for minus-2 yards and one reception for four yards. Aiden Daniel had one reception for three yards and one rushing attempt for one yard, while Rhett Blackburn added one reception for nine yards.

Defensively, Gentry Hart led the Trojans with four tackles. Luke Holt, Caleb Wright, Cole Wilkins and Cole M. Davis each recorded three tackles. Wilkins also forced a fumble.

Wessen Bromley finished with two tackles, one sack and one forced fumble, while Aiden Daniel and Hagan Pope each recorded two tackles. Cole Davis, Ace Moore, Jayden Wright and Ryan Karcher also contributed tackles, and Jevin Keener recorded a fumble recovery.

Despite the tough opening night loss, the Trojans will look to regroup and continue building as the 2026 season moves forward.
