CHS Trojans Fall to Cornersville in Week Two

   The Collinwood Trojans fell to Cornersville 43-14 Friday night, Aug. 28, in their Week Two matchup.

   Collinwood quarterback Luke Holt completed 9 of 17 pass attempts for 101 yards and a touchdown. Holt also carried the ball 20 times for 76 yards.

   Gentry Hart led the Trojans on the ground with 33 yards on three carries and scored one touchdown. Hart also had four receptions for 41 yards. Ryan Karcher added 30 rushing yards on five carries, while Tristan Gobbell rushed three times for 18 yards and had one reception for three yards.

   Aiden Daniel was Collinwood's leading receiver, recording two catches for 39 yards and a touchdown. Wessen Bromley added one reception for 14 yards, while Cole Wilkins had one catch for four yards.

   Other rushing contributions came from Bryant Hill with 10 yards on two carries, Caleb Wright with 12 yards on two carries and River Ryan with eight yards on two carries.

   Defensively, Aiden Daniel led the Trojans with four tackles. Gentry Hart, Hagan Pope and Ryan Karcher each recorded three tackles. Luke Holt and Caleb Wright each had two tackles, while Cole Davis, Ace Moore, Jayden Wright, Cole M. Davis, Ethan Daniel and Daniel Hensley each recorded one tackle. Cole Wilkins also recorded a pass breakup.

   The Trojans will look to bounce back as they continue their 2026 football season
