Three Individuals Charged In Criminal Conspiracy Case

According to Wayne County Sheriff Shane Fisher, an incident which occurred at a residence on Ross Creek Road near Clifton prompted his agency to contact the U.S. Marshals Service to help locate at least one of the suspects. With the incident being under intense investigation, Sheriff Fisher was unable to release much of the details to The News as to what actually happened by press time. The Sheriff did confirm that two of the individuals involved, DeVaughn Oshea Troy and Octavion M. Garrett were now in custody at the Wayne County Jail. The other individual, Brittany Capilla is awaiting extradition back to Wayne County from where she is being held in Alabama. Both Troy and Garrett are being held on $357,500 bonds with similar charges including, theft of property, $10,000 - $250,000, interference with emergency communications, aggravated burglary, armed dangerous felonies, reckless endangerment, aggravated criminal trespass, aggravated domestic related assault, and criminal conspiracy. Capilla’s bond and charges have not yet been disclosed. The News will attempt to get more information on this incident in the near future.
