Certified letter has been sent to registered owner of vehicle, Garcia Demetro Mejias, on 02/11/2026 and no attempt has been made to claim vehicle. Vehicle will be sold at auction after 06/03/2026.

ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Waynesboro Middle School, located at 407 S. Main St., Waynesboro, TN 38485, is accepting sealed bids from qualified roofing contractors for the Roof Replacement Project.

BID SUBMISSION

Sealed bids will be received until Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids should be marked “WMS Roof Bid.” Bids shall be submitted to: Wayne County Schools, 419 South Main Street, Waynesboro, TN 38485

Notice is hereby given that on May 26 of 2026 Letters Testamentary (or of Administration as the case may be) in respect of the estate of Brenda Williams, who died 10/16/2025, were issued to the undersigned by the Wayne County Chancery Court of Wayne County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or

(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A); or

(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

BID NOTICE

The Wayne County Highway Department is now accepting bids for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 (effective July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 **unless otherwise noted). Our annual bids include- Asphalt (hot mix), pavement markings, emulsion, culverts, rock, tires, oil and lubricants, blades and teeth, cold patch, and bridge timber. Specs on these can be found in our bid packets. Bid packets are available for pickup at the Highway Department at 315 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Wayne County Highway Department on June 25, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. The awarding of the Fiscal Year Bids will be no later than July 1, 2026. All bidding vendors will be notified upon the awarding of the bids.

All bids must be SEALED and MARKED – “2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR BID.” All bids submitted must be signed and dated by the submitting vendor’s representative. Bids may be mailed to the Wayne County Highway Department, P.O. Box 472, Waynesboro, TN 38485 or delivered to the Highway Department office at 315 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro, TN by the above-mentioned date and time.
