Semi-Annual Emulsion Bids for January 2026 - June 2026 (**unless otherwise noted) will be opened and read aloud at the Wayne County Highway Department on December 18, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. The awarding of the Semi-Annual Emulsion Bids will be no later than January 1, 2026. All bidding vendors will be notified upon the awarding of the bids. All bids must be SEALED and MARKED – “Jan 2026 - June 2026 SEMI-ANNUAL EMULSION BID.” All bids submitted must be signed and dated by the submitting vendor’s representative. Bids may be mailed to the Wayne County Highway Department, P.O. Box 472, Waynesboro, TN 38485 or delivered to the Highway Department office at 315 Hog Creek Road, by the above-mentioned date and time. If you are needing a Bid Packet, please stop by the Waynesboro office to pick one up.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Wayne County, Tennessee

Wayne County Highway Department is accepting bids for the construction of a 100’-0” Two Span Concrete Bridge (50° skew) on Hill Parkway over Butler Creek. Bids will open December 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope to the “Wayne County Highway Department, 305 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro, TN 38485.” Each envelope should be plainly marked with “Hill Parkway over Butler Creek – Bridge Replacement.” Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at that time.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from Collier Engineering Company, 2949 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211, (615) 331-1441 upon receipt of a $100.00 non-fundable deposit per bridge project. (NO CASH)

At the time of bid submittal, bidders must have a current Tennessee Contractor’s License. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with Tennessee Code, Title 62, Chapter 6, Paragraph 119 by providing evidence of a license in the appropriate classification before your bid can be considered. The failure of any bidder to comply with all of the provisions of TCA § 62-6-119 shall disqualify such bid.

All bidders shall include the license number, expiration date thereof, and license classification of the bidding contractor and sub-contractor on the outside of the envelope containing the bid; otherwise, the bid shall not be opened or considered. No award of any contract will be made to any firm or individual that is currently debarred by the State of Tennessee or the Federal Highway Administration.
