The Wayne County School Nutrition Program is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for both a Heated Pass-Thru Cabinet and a Refrigerated Pass-Thru Cabinet for the Collinwood Elementary School Cafeteria. The solicitation packet may be picked up from The Wayne County Board of Education or requested by email: leigh.sinclair@waynetn.net. Deadline for submitting responses is Wednesday, February 19, 2025, 10:00 AM. BID NOTICE

The Wayne County Highway Department is now taking bids for a Kershaw Skytrim 55 TH with specifications as follows: 74 HP, 4X4, articulating, air cooled Deutz diesel engine with less than 500 hours, 55-foot telescopic Boom, with an A/C and heated cab.

All bids must be sealed and marked “Kershaw Skytrim Bid” and turned in no later than Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.

Bids will be opened and read aloud on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at 10 a.m.

Bids may be turned in at our office at 315 Hog Creek Road, Waynesboro or mailed in at PO Box 472, Waynesboro.

Wayne County High School Stadium Renovations

Bids Due Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.

Wayne County Schools is accepting bids for Stadium Renovations at the Wayne County High School (WCHS) Football Stadium. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled "WCHS Football Stadium Renovation Bids" by 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 6, 2025. No late bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened on the due date and presented to the Wayne County Board of Education at its regular meeting on February 13, 2025, at 5:30 P.M.

The project will include

● Preparing current structures as necessary and furnishing all materials and support, such as excavation, concrete, rebar, forming materials, and surface grout, to complete the following concrete repair/replacement on the home side bleachers.

● Replacement of railings and fencing.

● Construction of a new pressbox, including demolition of the existing structure.

The cost of the press box is requested to be included separately. All work must be completed by August 1, 2025.

Notice is hereby given that on January 21 of 2025 Letters Testamentary (or of Administration as the case may be) in respect of the estate of Terry Evans Alley, who died 9/25/2024, were issued to the undersigned by the Wayne County Chancery Court of Wayne County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

Default having been made in the terms, conditions and payments provided in a certain Deed of Trust, dated September 15, 2023, executed by John Phillip Freeman to W. Andrew Yarbrough, Trustee, of record in Record Book 269, Page 474, Wayne County, Tennessee to secure the indebtedness described, the entire indebtedness having been declared due and payable as provided in said Deed of Trust, I, W. Andrew Yarbrough, will by virtue of the power and authority vested in me as Trustee, on the 19th day of February, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., at the EAST DOOR OF THE COURTHOUSE, WAYNE COUNTY, TENNESSEE, sell to the highest bidder for cash, free from all legal and equitable rights of redemption, homestead and dower, rights by virtue of marriage, and all other exemptions of every kind, which are expressly waived, and subject to any unpaid taxes, if any, the following described real property:

Also included in the hereinabove stated consideration and to be conveyed is a 1994 Mobile Home, VIN # AL2866I949043A and AL2866I949043B, located on and attached to the hereinabove described real property.

This conveyance is made subject to certain water rights to a well located on the hereinabove described real property heretofore conveyed to Bobby Makurat, by deed of Kristy D. Keeton Wright, dated August 4, 2005, and recorded in Record Book No. 72, page 516, Register’s Office of Wayne County, Tennessee, and reference thereto the same is made a part hereof the same as if copied in full herein.

This being the real property conveyed to John Phillip Freeman, by deed of Tanner Jones, dated September 15, 2023, of record in Record Book 269, Page 471, Register’s Office of Wayne County, Tennessee.

The sale of said property shall be subject to any and all unpaid taxes and assessments, together with interest and penalty, if any, and any and all other prior easements, restrictions, encumbrances, or liens of any nature.
