A recently released music video by Nothing More featuring Chris Daughtry was filmed in Clifton, Tennessee, and several locals appear in the video. The video was shot during January 2025, with the Tennessee River providing the perfect backdrop for many scenes. The Clifton Marina, Beechview, and other places around town were featured as well.
The song in the video, called “Freefall,” tells the story of a young man battling his inner demons. Many will recognize some of the main Clifton residents featured in the video, including Police Chief Steve Wilson, Fire Chief Michael Chilcott, and Byron Davis, Clifton Branch Manager of People’s Bank and Clifton Police Chaplain.
Guitarist for Nothing More, Mark Vollelunga, said, “We wrote this song for people who need to know they are not alone when they feel like everything is collapsing around them. For the music video, we teamed up with K9s for Warriors, an awesome group that provides emotional support dogs for veterans.”
The actor who plays the lead in the music video for “Freefall” is Michael Lombardi. He is recognizable for his role in the series “Rescue Me” on FX, a television show centered around firefighters.
In the opening lyrics of the song, lead singer Jonny Hawkins sings, “I'm in a freefall, racing to the ground, I’m scared I’ll lose it all, is anybody out there? Or am I alone? Reaching out for someone in a freefall”
