It's Time to Run!

It’s time for the 2026 Butterfly 5K! This Saturday, June 6, 2026, the 17th Annual Butterfly 5K will be held at Waynesboro City Park. All registration must now be done online at butterfly5k.itsyourrace.com, including registration on race day.

The 5K Run/Walk is the primary fundraising event for The Butterfly Foundation, Ryleigh Remembered. Since its beginning in 2007, the Foundation has helped the families of 462 children in its service area with gifts totaling over $1.5 million. These are children with life-threatening or life-altering medical conditions, and the monetary gifts help offset transportation costs, in particular, for medical visits and hospital stays.

There will be an early race packet pick-up on Friday, June 5, from 3:00-6:30 p.m. at the Waynesboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 108 Water Street in Waynesboro. Anyone who needs assistance with the online registration is invited to come to the early packet pick-up, and volunteers from The Butterfly Foundation will be glad to assist you.

Race packets may also be picked up on the Saturday morning of the race. With so many entrants, it's important for runners to get to the park early to get their packets. The Run will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m., rain or shine!
