The Horseshoe Riverbend Festival is officially back in Clifton!
The musical festival, which was a popular event for many years in the river city, is making a comeback this Saturday, September 6, from 12pm until 11pm. Admission is $10 per person.
Three bands will be performing at the festival. Steel 6 will take the stage from 12pm until 3pm with their mixture of rock, Southern rock, 80s rock, and blues.
Taking the stage from 4pm until 7pm will be Cade Doyle. Cade’s Facebook page says that blues and rock are often integrated, and in Cade’s case, they are interdependent. His style knits together the soul of blues and rock into modern-day music.
The final performers of the night will be Four Wheel Drive from 7pm until 11pm. These guys will bring a great show of 70s, 80s, 90s, and today’s country, rock, and dance music.
Over 30 vendors have signed up for the event, including at least ten food trucks/booths. A DJ will be spinning tunes when the bands aren’t playing, and there will be a beer booth for adults who purchase a beer band.
Winners of the Miss Horseshoe Pageant will be announced at the event. There will even be mechanical bull riding, along with a few more surprises.
Gates will open at 11am. Attendees should bring a comfortable chair, an appetite, and those awesome dance moves!
