Mrs. Debra Lee Pate Peters was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 9, 1959, to her father, the late Mr. Edward Leroy Pate, and her surviving mother, Mrs. Marian Woodhouse Pate. She spent her childhood in Illinois and eventually moved to her forever home in Tennessee. In her adult years, she worked in sales in various positions and for several different companies. Mrs. Debra would meet and marry her husband, Mr. James Peters, and on July 5, 1998, the two would marry and forever intertwine their families, hearts, and lives. They remained married until her passing. In her leisure time, she could be found enjoying shopping at yard sales throughout the countryside, crocheting, and sewing blankets for her children and grandchildren. Still, nothing in life compared in her heart to the time she spent with her family, friends, and loved ones, especially her grandchildren.
