Every day, thousands of patients rely on donated blood to survive and heal - from trauma victims and surgical patients to those fighting cancer or managing chronic illness. Blood cannot be manufactured; a stable and diverse blood supply depends entirely on generous donors. When you give blood, you’re making a life-saving gift that can help multiple people through emergencies, medical treatments, and ongoing care. Regular donations ensure hospitals have the right types and amounts of blood products available when they’re needed most, making your contribution not just helpful, but essential.
Blood Assurance will be holding a blood drive at Wayne Medical Center, located at 103 JV Mangubat Drive in Waynesboro, on Friday, April 10, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. To register for blood donation, you may call 1-800-962-0628 or visit www.bloodassurance.org/waynemedical. You may also scan the QR code above.
Those donating blood are asked to bring your ID with you, eat a good meal beforehand, avoid energy drinks, and drink extra water.
