Krishna Anna-Cate Langford, age 27, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Tuesday, May 21st on multiple charges. A report filed by Sgt. Bryant Burcham of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office stated that a resident of High Street in Collinwood came home from work and noticed that her son’s truck door was open, and the door to her outbuilding was also open. She immediately noticed a woman’s purse and sandals inside the truck, and various items scattered throughout the truck. When she looked inside her outbuilding, she noticed that boxes inside had been disturbed and gone through. A female that the homeowner did not recognize, later identified as Langford, then walked out of the woods allegedly wearing boots belonging to the homeowner’s son that had been inside the outbuilding. When Sgt. Burcham searched Langford, he allegedly found a driver’s license and set of keys belonging to the homeowner’s son inside Langford’s pants pocket. Langford was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft of property, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of possession of stolen property under $1,000. She was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $43,000.00 bond.
