The Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) Squadron 130 recently spent several volunteer hours at the home of Gloria Huckaba, who is handicapped and unable to do yard work. The S.A.L. donated their time and effort to mow, weedeat, and clean up the property around Ms. Huckaba’s home.

The S.A.L. is sanctioned by the United States Congress, and they are a nonprofit organization. Anyone who has a parent or grandparent who is or was a U.S. veteran is eligible to join. The organization does lots of great work to serve our community. For more information on the S.A.L., call Tommy Fisher at 931-332-1771 or Ron Tripp at 931-722-0969.
