Lucas Tate Hood, age 21, of Loretto, Tennessee was arrested on Sunday, December 2nd on charges of possession of schedule II methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV Diazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Eric Wilson filed a report stating that he was dispatched to a call regarding a reckless driver on Pumping Station Road. When Deputy Wilson made contact with the driver in an abandoned parking lot off Pumping Station Road, he asked Hood to step out of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle then allegedly revealed a baggie containing approximately 1.7 grams of a substance that field tested as positive for methamphetamine, a clear box containing four round yellow pills identified as Diazepam, two syringe needles, cotton swabs, and a torch lighter. Hood was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $62,500.00 bond.
