Kimberly Dawn Kennedy, age 41, of Waynesboro was arrested on Tuesday, July 9th on a charge of manufacture, delivery, sale, or possession of methamphetamine. The warrant filed by Deputy Eric Wilson states that while he was attempting to serve a warrant at 931 Old Highway 64 East, Kennedy ran out the back door of the residence. When ordered to stop, Kennedy sat down on the ground. Deputy Wilson then told Kennedy to stand up, and there were allegedly two baggies containing a total of 1.2 grams of methamphetamine located on the ground where Kennedy had been sitting. Kennedy was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond due to a violation of probation.
