Hardin Lee Stults, age 22, of Waynesboro was arrested on Friday, August 23rd on multiple charges of burglary and theft. Deputy Jeremiah Plunk filed an arrest report stating that earlier that day he was dispatched to Kelly Mobile Homes in regard to a burglary report. Stults was allegedly caught on the business’ security camera footage breaking into three trucks and stealing a GPS device and a Bluetooth device, and vandalizing a light bar. Deputy Plunk received a tip regarding Stults’ whereabouts, and was able to locate him and transport him to the Wayne County Jail. Deputy Plunk’s report goes on to state that while he was performing a patdown/search of Stults following his arrest, a Galaxy 8 cell phone was found in his possession which he allegedly admitted that he had stolen from a vehicle parked at the Wayne County Library. Stults was charged with a total of four counts of burglary and one count of theft under $1,000, and he was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $42,500 bond.
