The past two weeks at the Extension Office have been “sew fun!”
On June 11 and 12, two 4-H members, Olivia Stults and Megan Green, participated in the Intermediate Level Sewing Class, and learned many skills while making “snappy pappy” bags, lotus bags, hanging towels, pillow cases, and t-shirt dresses.
On June 18 and 19, we had the Advanced Level Sewing Class, and Megan Green and Abby Sherrill used patterns to create their own one-of-a-kind flannel pajama pants with matching sleep masks and a matching zip-up carrying case with a wrist strap.
Our amazing volunteer, Rubye Parham, helped the girls learn many new skills that they will be able to use to create lots of projects at home!
