Shonda Pigg Jones, age 44, of Collinwood was arrested on Wednesday, November 21st after fleeing from Deputy Tyler McKenzie into Alabama in 2016. The arrest report states that on Friday, December 9th, 2016, Deputy McKenzie was sitting stationary on Lutts Road when a vehicle approached, going 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy McKenzie then pulled the vehicle over for speeding. The driver identified herself as Kelley Jackson, with a date of birth 1/18/1972. They confirmed that the driver of the vehicle was Jones. Dispatch also confirmed that Jones’ driver’s license was suspended, and this would be her 13th offense for driving on revoked. After serving time in other counties, Jones was booked into the Wayne County Jail on November 21st, 2018, on charges of driving on a revoked/suspended license 13th offense, criminal impersonation, felony evading arrest, and resisting stop or arrest.
